Beth and Dan,

I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I know how much you and your children loved him. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

Pup's positive influence impacted many during his lifetime. The love and wisdom he shared continues to bless his family and friends ... I am grateful to be counted among them.

I will miss Pup dearly but he'll be in my thoughts always. He was an outstanding Grandfather, role model and friend, I'm a better man for having known him. Rest in peace Pup.

Me and Papa used to talk for hours about America's wars, the French language and way of life, and our family lineage. I couldn't have learned anything like that from anyone else except him. He was incredibly wise and artistic, and in terms of his wisdom, nobody surpassed him. He also brought inevitable charm to any room he walked into. He is gone, but with praise.

Papa will be missed, he was loved by everyone. He has moved on to be with the lord, where he will be happy. Goodbye Papa.

I loved Papa. My thoughts will always be with him. He lived a long good life. Friends and relatives are sad. But he is a happy man in heaven with relatives he hasn't seen in a long time. He will be missed.
