My sister Shirley gave me a subscription to the Gazette for Christmas and it just arrived in my mailbox and I read about your loss. Although I haven't seen you for quite some time and haven't lived in Michigan for nearly 30 years, I have great memories of practically living over at your house and Dave being at mine when we were kids, both in Parchment, then Lakewood and on into high school.

I have known Grandpa since probably 1980 - when Shelly & I became best friends in Kindergarten. I remember spending time at his house playing in the basement, playing with Penny, having garage sales, eating Thanksgiving dinner, taking walks around the neighborhood and to the store. Over the years I spent alot of time with the family, and after high school Jody & I ended up working together at Kmart. The two of us are now "Peapods" and practically inseperable!
