Mayola was the secretary at Payne Elementary when I first started teaching. She was such a joy! She was a great partner with Mr. Bostic, whom she called "Boss." I just loved her. I was tempted to call the substitute teacher's office just to visit with her and hear her voice. I know you will miss her dearly. I'm so sorry for your loss.

To the Franklin Family; I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Franklin. She was such a joy to be with. I am praying that God will strengthen you during this time of transition.

I loved Mayola she was so very dear when I worked at Payne and she was the head secretary. She was always smiling and laughing and happy. She was the very best. she told me to mop my kitchen floor when I was anxious for my first baby to come. She was wonderful and gracious. Jenni Johnston

I had the opportunity to work with your Mother/Wife while employed by USD259. I found her to be helpful, joyful and a delight to know. Please accept my deep sympathy to you all

her voice was a joy to hear in the morning---prayers and hugs

To the Franklin family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As a teacher in Wichita, I am one of thousands who knew and appreciated Mayola as the kind and wonderful woman who ran our Substitute Teachers Office. She was the best -- Always there for us with her genuine concern, sense of humor, and take-charge approach. She was loved by many, and we've missed her the last few years in the district since she retired. She was a beautiful person and I feel fortunate to have known her. Please know...
