Not sure what to say?

Jean Freshour just told me the sad news. I will always cherish my memories of Mearl. She taught me so very much about wildflowers and especially the Trillium. I'm certain that she and Glenna are planting more gardens in heaven. Mearl, you were a large part of who I am today.

Mearl will forever be our Auntie Mame, full of life and charging hard every day. You always had to keep up with her because she led the way. Sharp and quick-witted, she kept you on your toes. There was no slack and no quit in Mearl, especially when you worked in the yard with her. While she never slowed down, she was also loving and tender and would always take time to share your pain and make you feel better. We all miss our Auntie Mame.

I was so saddened to learn the loss of your Mom. I know what a hole it leaves in your heart--she was an influence on me in many ways. I had the honor of visiting with her a few times in the last few months and I want you to know how much she loved her family. She talked about "my sons" and "my family" all the time and she appreciated everything that all of you had done for her and she knew how much she was loved. My prayers now are that the Lord will...

With Deepest Sympathy in the loss of your loved one.
In your sorrow for the loss of your mother, may it help to realize that others care about your loss. Jerry, there is no good time in losing a mother, believe me I know, but when you know that they knew the Lord it makes things a little easier. Our prayers are with you and your family and may you find peace and strengh through our prayers.

I love and miss you Mearl. Kelly McNabb (Knoxville, TN)

We would like to extend our sympathy to the family: especially to Helen and to Mearl's sons. She was so proud of her family. We have known Mearl since we were children. We had many fun times together, looking for wildflowers, and planting. I am sure she is in Heaven looking for some project to get started.

We love and miss you Mearl.

Mearl brought light and happiness to my daddy that I am sure he thought was lost after Mother died. She was a wonderful second mother and grandmother to my children. I loved her and will always be glad she came into our lives.

Carol and family so sorry to here about Mearl I just read it in the paper. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Love you all Sharon and Crystal
