Not sure what to say?

How sad I was to read about Medora. She and I were classmates at Oran M Roberts Elem. Sch. in Houston. I even had the pleasure of visiting the Dohertys in Highland Park after they moved. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

God bless you and your family in this sorrowful time. Medora was a galant lady and will be missed by all. Rickie and I wish you the very best.

I felt God's presence whenever I had the privelege to be with Medora. I will long remember sitting at your kitchen table and talking about our families and the church. I am grateful for having known her and wish I had met her years ago.

We are so sorry for the loss of a dear lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill and the entire family. She will be truly missed.

Rita Brooks and the staff of JHB, LLP

I worked for Bill for 3+ years and I have never met a more gracious lady than Medora. Every time she called, she brightened my world with her soft voice, always taking the time to ask about my family before asking for Bill. I will miss talking with her, but I know she is sitting on the right side of God and she has eternal health. God Bless Bill and all the family for their loss of a wonderful lady.

It was such a privilege to know Medora. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and a kind word to share. She was faithful to the Lord, joyful in spirit, and gracious to others. She will be greatly missed.

Medora was one of the finest ladies I ever met. Her warmth welcomed me to HPUMC and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. My deepest sympathy to her wonderful family. Fondly, Karen Shields

Oddly enough, the first thought that comes to me is John Wesley's "rooted in faith, joyful through hope, and grounded in charity." Indeed, Medora had faith, joy, love, and more. From HPHS days I remember most her vitality and her wit. She was very funny! And there was a sweetness, too, that was always there. We will miss the sparkle she added to our lives.

There will be a (physical) vacancy in "The White Pew" at Highland Park United Methodist Church this morning, but there will be a gracious, beautiful and loving "spirit" not only in that pew every Sunday, but also in EVERY place that Medora ever walked on this beautiful earth. She is where she wants to be now, and heaven sure got a lot "classier and even more wonderful" last Thursday evening. Thanks Medora for making us all smile, laugh and feel truly "special" by your love and friendship. ...
