I'm sorry this happened to you Megan, and I'm sorry for those closest to you having to wrestle with this heartbreaking tragedy. You were so optimistic, so hopeful. In the face of my youthful bitterness, you showed kindness. You one told me "you just need to look on the bright side of things.. if you spend your life being depressed, you've wasted it." I didnt know what you were facing back then, but in retrospect that statement was a testament to the kind, brave, inspiring person you were....

Megan was my childhood friend, who was so dear to me. We had our falling outs a few times but I have always loved her to dearly. I am heartbroken to know of her passing, no more pain for her is the only good out of this. I love you megan. forever
