Megan was the most beautiful girl in our Mullen HS class. I graduated with her in 2002. I remember her as absolutely stunning, smart and super sweet. She went out of her way to make me feel accepted. God bless.

DEAREST CHAPLAIN NANCY AND FAMILY: WHEN DENISE TOLD ME OF YOUR LOSS ON SUNDAY MORNING, I SIMPLY COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WAS TRUE!!!! DID NOT WANT TO BELIEVE IT WAS WAS TRUE. I'M SURE YOU HAVE AND ARE FEELING THE SAME WAY. FATHER TOM WAS ALSO SHOCKED AND DID NOT WANT IT TO BE TRUE. SO YOUNG, SO BEAUTIFUL, SO VERY CHERISHED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I GUESS GOD JUST COULD NOT WAIT ANY LONGER FOR HER TO BE ONE OF HIS OWN ANGELS. AND KNOWING MEGAN'S MOM, MEGAN IS INDEED AN ANGEL. SHE IS AT PEACE, BUT EACH OF YOU FEEL THE PAIN OF HER ABSENCE. Dear Bugbee family,
Just wanted you to know how deeply I am saddened by the passing of Megan. I was her banker and friend. She touched many lives through the wonderful work she did through the Women's Crisis Center of Douglas County. Megan and I worked close together for this wonderful organization at holiday time. For that I am greatful. Our good memories will always be with us.

I never really knew Megan, and I was friends with Kristin for a short time, but the Mullen community is a family from first day freshmen year to the end of our time on this earth.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Megan, I was able to know her a bit through conversations with Peter. She is a beautiful young lady whose smile will be missed,

Megan, this is Uncle Bill. My heart is so full of grief and sadness that we have lost you. While I know you are now at peace with the Lord, one of the hardest things to come to terms with is that this was far, far too early....you had so much of life ahead.
One thing is certain...the world has lost one of it's true caretakers. There is an entry in the guest book that describes you as an angel on earth, which I believe to be a perfect description of your painfully short life here. Some of the words of a very well-known eulogy come to my mind when I think of how you lived....you "saw wrong and tried to right it, saw suffering and tried to heal it......" Yes, we have lost a true friend, guardian, and ally in all of our lives.
Do not forget all the wonderful times our families had when you were growing up...our trips out to Denver and your trips back to Lynnfield and up to Maine. I will never forget the time we surfed the day away at Long Sands Beach, will never forget seeing you graduate from H.S., seeing you at Meredith's wedding, and seeing you for one last wonderful afternoon at Stage Neck Inn a few summers ago.

While it has been many years since we had last seen each other, your passing has filled me with a heavy heart. We first met at volleyball tryouts before the start of our freshman year at Mullen. You were friendly, kind, and always fun to be around. With our last names, we found ourselves next to each other on several occasions, starting freshmen year having lockers side by side, to sitting next to each other at our graduation in 2002. I am happy to say that throughout those four years, you remained that same great person that I met on day one. Your beauty was visible both on the inside and out, and you have left a lasting legacy. You will be greatly missed, although your loving spirit and memory will remain alive and present amongst your family, dear friends, and all others whose lives you have touched. We are all blessed to have known you.
