Dear Madeline & Family,
Sorry so late on the message. I just heard about Megan a couple of days ago. I am so sorry for your loss. The world lost a truly beautiful person. My heart aches for the loss of the best friend I ever had. I know she is with Chance again & not having to deal with all the health problems. I wish you & your family all the best.
Sincerely, Hayley Sutherland Phelps

Meg is a about 6 or so months younger than me but we met at camp when we were younger and have been in contact off and on since then. We both have Spina Bifida and a lot of the same issues we've dealt with all our lives. We had been talking quite a bit over the phone until last year when we both ended up dealing with sores and other issues, and then unfortunately both of us dealing with so much we lost touch again. I'm in such shock to hear that she's passed away cuz I was really thinking...

Her grandfather; grandmother and mother and aunts lived right down the street from my family near the Red Bute Stream Canyon park entrance. I wish Megan's family well as they are some of the kindest delightfull people I ever knew, and Megan got the best possible care and love from them.

I first met Meg as teenagers at Camp Kastopolous many years ago and we've seen each other at different times over the years at concerts or different things. 5 or 6 years ago we ran into each other again and exchanged phone numbers and stayed in touch until this last year or 2 we lost touch due to the different medical issues we both have dealt with both having Spina Bidida and dealing with some similar things like the sores. I've felt so bad we didn't stay in contact and the last insane her...

I'm so sorry to hear that Megan passed away. I went to school with her when we were young. The funnest memory I have of her was riding the bus home. She rode the "short" bus, which dropped her off right in front of her house (which was closer to mine also). She would talk her driver into letting me ride with her, saying that she needed my help, which she absolutely did not!!! My prayers are with your family.
