I just heard about Megan's death today, and am both sorry and shocked. She was such a vivid person, and I have many happy memories of her as a young woman, both at the Tribune and personally. My condolences to all of her family and friends. I know her spirit will live on in her children and all who knew her.

We are so sorry to hear about Megan's passing. Our hearts go out to Megan's children and entire family. We knew her as a very young mother when we lived across the street from her in Evanston and our children played together. She was lovely, vibrant, funny, and warm. We are certain she will be greatly missed.

We were so very sorry to hear about Meg - we have such found memories of the bridge group outings and the Ellsworth family. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.

The brief visit we had with Megan a few weeks ago was a gift, after losing touch over the years. Our sympathies and prayers are with Megan and all who loved for her. Her star will continue to shine through her loving family and friends.
