Not sure what to say?

Dear Gerry, Shelly & Casey,
You all know how much I loved Megan and of course, I love you all. I too will miss Megan. She had a terrific personality and beautiful smile. Megan developed into a wonderful young woman.
My favorite rememberance of Megan happened several years ago while my mother (Megan's Nana) & I visited Dallas over a long weekend to "babysit" Megan and Casey while their parents were away. We all had fun driving all over Dallas in Gerry's red convertible going to...

Dear Gerry, Shelley, & Casey,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that if there is anything I can do, let me know. You are a wonderful family, and I am so blessed to know you all. Megan was a very sweet young woman, always striving to be the best big sister she could be. I will continue to pray for the Lord's strength, comfort and peace to be with you.

Love,
Amanda Johnson/Pettitt

Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher,

All I know to say is that I am sorry for your loss and I miss Megan very much. She meant so much to me and our entire team. I would like to share a moment that is very special to me. It was right after exams had finished in the spring and I was walking to my car and happened to see Megan while she was wallking around Furman. She was beautiful as always and she gave me a big hug and flashed her amazing smile. She asked me if I had a few minutes to talk,...

Reading all of these entries up to June 27, 2005, should give Gerry, Shelley and Casey some cause for comfort in this: The great majority of the entries spontaneously refer to Megan's beautiful, radiant smile. That tells you that during the great majority of the minutes in her too-short life, Megan was smiling. Because she was a very happy young woman, thanks to a lot of things, but thanks mostly to her family and her friends.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher and Casey,

I am so sorry for your loss. I read about Megan's passing on a message board--one of her classmates had requested prayers for your family. I lost my son 1 year ago in a car accident, and my heart always breaks when I hear of a young person's life ending too soon. My prayers are with you, and I hope that the beautiful memories of your daughter will one day bring you some comfort. Peace be with you.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher and Casey,
I am so deeply saddened by your great loss - one that I cannot imagine. I only met Megan one time but in that time she made such an impact on me. She and my daughter were in the emergency room at the same time this past February. Megan and her boyfriend were there alone waiting anxiously for her dad to arrive from Dallas and the pending appendectomy to end her pain. After the young man had to leave she was all alone so I alternated between my...

Megan and I had class together during Spring Term of my sophomore year at Furman, her freshman year. We shared notes and talked when we were in class together. Though we didn't become close friends, we often talked and caught up when eating in the DH together. I will always remember Megan's strikingly beautiful smile, and pray that her family is comforted knowing that their daughter touched many lives. I pray that you will find solace in the wonderful memories of her life in the coming months...

I saw a picture of a beautiful young girl in the obituaries on Sunday & was very saddened to read of Megan's death.
From reading this guestbook & the article in the paper, it sounds like Megan lived a lot in her short life. I was touched by her and didn't even know her.

bless her family.

There are no words at this time that I can find to convey my sympathy for you and your family. May you find comfort in friends, family, and community. You are in my prayers.
