Not sure what to say?

Ms. Marohn was an utterly fabulous person and a brilliant teacher. She transformed her classroom into an oasis. Whenever I entered her room, decorated lovingly with art and political posters, I had a full body exhale. For the next 45 minutes, I could analyze Joanna Newsom lyrics, freewrite, watch slam poetry, analyze a scene from a play. And maybe - if I was lucky - I'd get a one-on-one with Ms. Marohn. She really was the best kind of teacher. She treated us and our writing seriously....

I knew her as Ms. Marohn. An English teacher who was always so excited to share her favorite artist or current poet or poem. My very dear Bill, Peter, Amy and Meghan´s family, I wish so much I could be there with you in this moment, and hold you in my arms...just be assured that my heart is right next to you. Beautiful Meg will keep inspiring all of us with her poetry and her wit, her sense of generosity and friendship, of caring and sharing, but also with her faith, her strength, her convictions and her commitments. She will keep spreading her light on those of us who have had the luck to meet her and have...

My heartfelt sympathy to beautiful Meg's family. I met her in 2016 when she wrote me a poem for her brilliant Troy Poem Project and we stayed in touch. (I shared a photo of that evening). A truly beautiful soul who encouraged me to keep sharing pictures that "remind people of the beauty and wonder in the world." I can still feel her adding to that beauty and wonder and am sure you can, too. Peace and comfort to you all.

Mr. Marohn, Peter, Amy, Bill & Michael, I am so very sorry for your loss. Meghan was such a beautiful person inside and out. Our entire class from AHN is thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers during this painful time. Sincerely, Leah VanDeloo

may meghan rest in peace.

I met Meghan when she was an adolescent when she was visiting my niece. She was a beautiful and lovely young woman. My sincere condolences to her family on the loss of Meghan.

Bill, and Peter and the rest of your family everyone at Mcaddies have been thinking about you for the last 6 months. You have been in our hearts and minds. I only wish you peace in this time of heartache. Brian Nielsen
