I went to Dairy Queen and got a Snickers blizzard like we used to do as a treat. I even went and made the best coffee that you influenced me to try years ago. It is just as great today. Happy Birthday. Happy Nooruz. I am always with you and you with me to help me through my life. I have your sweater on today that you have me. It still has your smell. I still hear you from the back bedroom asking for pancakes and coffee. So that is what I had in your honor today. Please guide me and my steps....

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and how grateful I am to be your daughter. The little things in life remind me of you and I smile knowing that you shared so much with me. My family is always asking me about you and I am glad to be able to pass on your life and stories with them. I was so fortunate to have a Dad like you to be an inspiration for me when things get difficult. I always say a blessing for you each day and you are always with me.
