Busch, Meinrad J. age 89, of Richfield. WWII Navy veteran, and retired from Peavey- -Con Agra after 33 years, passed away at home on January 11. Preceded in death by newborn son, Joseph; parents, Meinrad Sr. and Mary; four sisters and four brothers. Survived by devoted and loving wife of 68 years, Florence; daughters, Mary Joyce Flesche, Sharon Schwalen, Lois (Bob) Greer and Debbie (Steve) Salerno; 10 grandchildren, Jonathan Flesche, Jennifer (Phil Agoranos) Flesche, Christopher Flesche, Michael Schwalen, Stacy Waner, Rob (Lisa) Greer, Craig (Lori) Greer, Ryan Salerno, PFC Jeremy Salerno, USMC and Cory Salerno; 13 great grandsons; and 1 great granddaughter; sisters, Mildred Vomacka, Florence Ballinger; and brother, Ambrose Busch. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 6730 Nicollet Ave S., Richfield. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 5-8 PM at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield, and one hour prior to the Mass at Church. Vigil Prayers 7:00 PM Monday. Meinrad was one of my dad's(Eugene) brothers. I am so sorry to hear of Meinrad's death. May God comfort the entire family at this time of sorrow. My prayers are with you all.
