Not sure what to say?

Mel greatly affected my life. He was supportive at Arthur Andersen and found me a job when they let me go. Sad to hear of his passing

I truly loved and respected Mel. The perfect husband, father and businessman. So much integrity and caring for others.

I was so saddened to see this obituary. Mel was one of the classiest men I knew. Kind, smart, and trustworthy. I am sure he has left this world a better place because he was here!. Much love, Dawn Peterson

Mel was a mentor to me and to so many others at Andersen Consulting (Accenture). His focus on supporting, guiding and mentoring staff as the bedrock of a successful and healthy organization stayed with me throughout my career. Prudent risk-taking and exploring new frontiers was also another valuable lesson. Thank you, Mel. You are missed.

To our family Mel & Tina have filled many roles. Mel as Godfather to our youngest child. Meal as boss, mentor and friend to me at Andersen. Mel & Tina as neighbors and a source of strong support at our times of need.
Yaweh broke the mold when Mel was cast.
Our prayers go with Tina. We are confident that Mel's Spirit goes on.

Mel was always able to find the best way to tackle a challenge. He had great ideas, boundless energy and the needed persistence to achieve his goal. It is easy to understand his impact beyond Andersen Consulting and the creation of Diamond Technologies.
In addition to his family, he will be missed by the many he touched in his business career

Best wishes to Tina and all of the Bergstein family. Mel we an innovator and and leader with great insights. He cared for his people most of all. All of us who worked closely with him at Andersen Consulting will miss him.

Mel was always available to provide wise counsel to those who worked for him. I benefited from this early in my career at Andersen Consulting in Stamford. Diana and I still talk about the New Year Eve parties Mel and Tina graciously hosted in their home.

"Worry about the careers of those with less experience than you; your own career will take care of itself." Mel Bergstein, 1987. ... some of the best advice that I've ever had. You can apply it to just about everything. So many people and families benefitted from Mel's stewardship.
