I was stunned to hear that my dear cousin has joined our Lord. Although we haven't seen each other in several, several years, I think of him often as he was my favorite. I remember the great times we shared as children at Grandma Yatz's house in Whiting, especially at Christmas. I'm sure he is at peace and I will continue to pray for your family

As the newest member of the parish council, I only had the opportunity to meet Mel just a few times. But in those times, he was always so very kind to me. He will be missed.
