Melanie Ruth Dixon, 38, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away at home in Bluffdale on January 22, 2013.
She was born on August 8, 1974 in St. George, Utah to Duane Merle and Kristine Bessie Moser. She joined 2 older brothers and had 8 younger siblings.
Melanie was mother to three beautiful and loving children: Amanda June Dixon born in 1992, Tristan Davis Dixon born in 1996, and Joshua Edward Aguilar born in 2008.
Melanie fought the good fight, her life was fraught with strife and conflict. We know that she is finally at peace in the arms of her loving Savior.
She is survived by her three children, parents: Duane and Kristine Moser, siblings: Jason (Brenda), Brian (Shelly), Kristina (Phil), Stephen (Laurie), Trina (Jordan), Gabriel, Madiah (Paul), Lorece (Greg), Shanae (Jeff), Shaelle (Shaun), and many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Bluffdale LDS Chapel, 14662 So. 3200 W. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-8:30 pm at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. and Saturday 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment in the Taylorsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at any Cyprus Credit Union to the Melanie Dixon Fund.
