Mike, Jenn and Jake, I'm so sorry for the loss of your daughter/sister. Melanie captured our hearts and filled them with love in a way words can't explain, and she did it with little more than a smile. I'm so proud of the way you cared for her and it brings me great comfort knowing that she had three amazing heroes watching over her in this life. Thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful niece.

I worked at East street school where Melanie attended for many years. When I read of her passing I smiled so big because I can remember when she would come down to the office with her aide, we sing and dance for Mel and she would smile and do the best she could to laugh. It alway made us feel good to make her feel good. Rest In Peace Melanie.
