I had the privilege of working with Melanie at Canal Barge. We became good friends and I missed her caring nature.

Very, very sad. I am glad we got to see her recently. She cried and hugged us both, especially Earl and would not let go. We go back many, many years filled with laughter and fun, especially at the dances and baseball games. She will be missed.

What do you say about a friend you met in kindergarten and have known your whole life. Melanie was a loving and special person. She had her ups and some downs that she overcame. She was fun-loving and there are going to be some parties in Heaven. Tara, Tim, and Lizette my thoughts and prayers are with you. Melanie say hello to Miss Jenny and Mr Fred for me. Love you, and Rest-In-Peace.

My favorite memories of her are her watching "Batman" reruns with Tim and I after we left the Buccaneer Swim Club on summer nights. She also got me started liking frozen yogurt from TCBY.
