Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Melanie's family. We were at Stone Mountain Elementary together in Mrs. King's class. You all are in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one, Melanie Hicks. Death's hold on her is temporary for Jesus conquered it when he was resurrected by his Father. (1 Cor 15:55-57) God cares for your family and wants to "wipe the tears from your eyes." (1 Pet.5:7) Your family and friends can also be an invaluable source of comfort. Peggy Davis, Decatur, GA

May the God of Comfort continue to provide the needed comfort during your time of sorrow and take heed, the Creator really cares and knows what you are going through. (Isaiah 61:2)

God is near to those that are broken at heart … a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses (Psalms 46:1). May God grant you the comfort and strength that you need during this time of grief and loss.

Deepest sympathies and prayers go to your family. May God give you peace and comfort during this time of grief. (2Cor. 1:3,4)

Stephen,
I remember Melanie so well. Especially at Stone Mountain Elementary. She was a grade ahead of me, but we often played together at recess. So sorry for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers. She has gone to be with her mom and dad now. Blessings, Dianne Britt Parker, and the James Britt family.

My condolence for the Hicks family. May you find comfort and hope at this sorrowful time.Rev 20:3,4.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one but family and friends can carry you through. (Isaiah 12:2)
