Not sure what to say?

Love you Mel through space and time. Always, Ape (April Daly childhood friend from 1970- )
My prayers, thoughts and love to her family and friends.

I have been looking for you for 15 years Mel. All along wishing and hoping you were doing ok. I have finally found you on this site...Heartbreaking! I am filled with so many different emotions...I am in tears, and can barely write this. You were and always will be an important part of my life. I wish I had looked harder for you a long time ago. I have and always will miss you. I only hope now to make it to heaven to see you once again...Doing the Salsa, and to hug you one more time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I will miss you Mel. I well never forget us playing as kids at the Cypress house and the vacation to Illinois. You where a fun person with a friendly smile. Wish you where still here growing old with the rest of us but I know your watching over us in a better place.

I only met Melanie once and I liked her very much. It was Christmas and she gave me a very valuable gift, a book called "The Purpose Driven Life." It was the first step for me in reconnecting with God. She was an Earth Angel for doing that for me. Thank you Melanie. Be in peace, AND HAVE FUN IN HEAVEN!

My deepest sympathies to the loss of Melanie. I don't know if anyone would remember this but, Melanie used to come in at 42nd Street restaurant many times to see Lucia the chef. That is my Aunt and I am her neice, we worked there together and I used to see Melanie come in before dance at Crazy Girls, and I used to tell my auntie, She's such a beautiful Girl, I wish I looked like her....she left such an imprint in my life of beauty, stature and class. Forever she will be in our hearts and...

To my Auntie Mel,
You were more a sister to me as we were so close in age. I look back to our childhood and old photos. I remember your two long braids and smiling face. I will not forget the days we played Barbie's, had sleep overs, went to your Ballet classes, took the bus to the beach, and went on a long trip across the Country and Colorado. Later to all those wonderful ballet performances and seeing you backstage. I remember wearing your graduation gown, which was way too long...
