Not sure what to say?

I miss your smile and laughter! I think about you daily and know God has a special angel in heaven! You were an angel to the elderly and those sweet babies. I will never forget you. Love Andrea Haney-Rice

I was looking for Melanie on Facebook and saw that she passed. Your daughter was such an amazing friend and nurse. We worked together at Broadway Plaza. She always brought me up anytime I was down. We lost contact after I left Broadway. She was such a positive person and has forever left her outlook on life with me. I will always miss her sweet smile and positivity.

My sincere condolences to Melanie's family for your loss. Melanie was such a sweet caring woman always ending our conversations with God bless you and I love you. She really impacted my life as a dear friend and will be missed.

Melanie was a special nurse and friend at Children's Medical Center. We both got together after our departure from Childrens. We both found a true calling with pediatric home health. To think in heaven she gets a glimpse of her rewards for having taken care of medically fragile children. I hope she gets to me heavenly healed children she took are of in her earthly life.

Mike, Marge, and family,
Melanie will be greatly missed by so many. I was blessed to be reconnected with her for the last few years. One of my favorite times was our prom - we had so much fun! She always had a smile for everyone. I thank God that I could be a part of her life.
May God give you comfort and peace during this time. I will be unable as of now to attend her celebration of life, but know I will be there in spirit.
Blessings,
Shelly Hanks

I didn't know you as well as I liked but you suffered through a horrible disease as best you could & I just hope it brings a light to something that hides in the dark, I wish we had more time for our friendship to grow, my sympathies & love to all of Melanie Leathers's family & friends

Mike / Marge : Jean and I are on Cape Cod, Massachusetts right now at our family summer home. We would loved to have been at your memorial party celebrating her life. She obviously was [and still is dummy me] a beautiful person. You all are in my prayers.Shalom my brother and sister, Jim Hickey

I was so sad to hear of Melanie's passing. She probably did not remember me, but I always remembered her being so nice, and having a big smile on her face.
