Not sure what to say?

Karri, I was very sorry to hear of Melanie's passing. Even though we will all feel that she was taken too soon, I believe she did more for the Lord, in her short time here, than most of us could hope to do in a lifetime. Her unselfish love and concern for others was a shining example of Christ's love. May God comfort you and your family as only He can.
In Christ's Precious Love,

To the Lindmark Family:
Our Family's hearts and prayers go toeach of you during your time of great sadness, our daughter attended kindergarten with Melanie and misses her very much, she was truely a brave little angel sent to all, may God keep each of you with his love and strength.

I just learned of Melanie's passing at work yesterday. I met a friend of your's from Lee's Summit (last name Oliver)who is a highway patrolman there. He and I struck up a conversation and in the course of it, I mentioned that we had lost our granddaughter Brooke Leitterman in November and that a fellow officer, Sargeant Chip Drenon was also from Lee's Summit Troop A. He told me about Mel and your family and that you went to his church. Of course, I remembered seeing John and Mel many times...

To Melanie's family, I found out all about Melanie through my cousin Donna Gibbens last June. I have kept you all in prayer since that time. I've shared pictures and stories about Melanie with my friends at church. Many SC people have been praying for all of you and will continue. Thank you for sharing Melanie with us through the internet. Love in Christ, Brenda Howell Proverbs 3: 5-6

I am so sorry for your loss and she will be missed. She is in all of our harts. Our prayers are with you and may God be with you, while you try to walk this path in life know that you have friends all around to help you heal.

Through Melanie, many here on earth got to experience God's love at its finest. When my grandmother passed on into Heaven, my cousin told me "Amazing how you lose something...but know exactly where it is...." That is how I feel about Melanie. For those that knew her...they will miss her tremendously... but now Melanie is joyful and at peace. What is our loss is Heaven's gain. Melanie was able to show many that the Lord Jesus Christ was real and lived inside of her life... and because of...

God picked a beautiful little girl to join him in Heaven today. She will long continue to touch the lives of others because of her trials on Earth. Thank you for making our experience on 4 Henson more exciting. It is because of your spirit we learned to deal with this monster. "Thank You!!" We will continue to pray for you family as you deal with your loss. She will be sadly missed!

Vicki, Jim, & Scott and the Lindmark Family,
I have known Vicki for 7 years and have felt her pain going through this with her precious granddaughter. Melody was an inspiration to all of us. But, sometimes a loved one must travel ahead for reasons that aren't always clear. And we're left behind to continue along, missing ONE who is no longer here. And while it may seem that the pathway has stopped, it merely has rounded a bend, and our loved one goes on to a much brighter place, down...

I never had the pleasure of meeting Melanie, but yet I feel like I know her. I work at GEHA, and have a weekly prayer service there. Cheryl Mahanes first introduced us to Melanie's situation when she first developed cancer. She has been on our prayer list ever since, both for prayer needs and for praises. What a strong little girl she was, and what a wonderful family she has. Know that we will continue to pray for you. I know that she is holding the hand of Jesus and looking down at all of us...
