Not sure what to say?

I learned of your immense loss just a few years ago. I met her in 1981. Have never forgotten her in all this time. Everyone that reads this knows how special and unforgettable Melanie is. You all have said it all. I knew her such a short time yet 44 years later I think of her so often. Thank God for her amazing spirit and that even a brief relationship could be so impactful to someone like me. Live, love, laugh and learn from Melanie ~ every day and especially now. God bless.

Melanie and Kim were my dearest little friends that I babysat when we were all young. I loved these darlings and their family and am so sorry I did not know until now, 2017. What a joy to be in this child's presence with her light that shown brightly even as a child. All my love to her family, who were so precious to me in Hopkinsville.....Kaye Butler

Roxanne and Austin Jambor are sorry for your loss. Melanie had an awesome sense of humor and always made us laugh. She also gave us fantastic massages.... We know that she is in God's hands and at peace.

As you embark on your next journey, know that you have left your footprints on many of our hearts and we will miss you.
So long, for now, my friend.

To Melanie's family:

I haven't seen you all for years, but heard of Melanie's passing through my sister-in-law, Sid Kittila. Donna and Bob, I miss our times together in Pewee Valley. Kimby Wimby, I miss you and all the silly fun we had at Eastern High School. Melanie, I didn't know you well; but I will always remember your beautiful smile. My sincere sympathy goes out to the entire family.

Mel,

I don't know where to start - here goes - never knew you had get togethers and wore funny kind of hats when you are watching a horse race until I met you - I will never forget camping (the great food you always cooked) - hanging out in your back yard - going places - my list could go on forever - I wished I could have said good bye ! But we will meet again - rest in peace my friend !

I will always remember your smile and the way you could get anyone to smile even in the roughest times. You will be missed greatly.

Melanie-chan,

You touched my heart and my life. Although I was not near...I feel your absence deeply. May you find your deepest love, your peace...sleep with the angels and we will see each other again.

We will miss your smile, your laughter, your sense of humor and the look you had that always made us wonder what you were up to ....
