What a joy to have known Melba. She was a kind and loving friend and neighbor to my mother. In the years that I was priveleged to know her, she spread comfort and strength to others through her lively, happy spirit - even in the midst of her own heartaches and declining health.

She will be greatly missed on "the hill!" May she rest in peace.
