We are so thankful we were able to see and talk with Melba on zoom 3 days before her unexpected passing. We have so many happy memories from childhood from our visits in Charleston and Columbia. We love you Melba and we will never forget you.

Melba and I were singing buddies in both the University of Maryland, where we went on that amazing 1988 tour, and the Paul Hill Chorale in Washington, DC. Now that I am back in South Carolina, I remember that we also shared a South Carolina connection. Her kindness endures with me to this day. My condolences to her family.
