I was in Wishes N Dreams the other day & asked how Melba was....didn't know she had gone to be with the Lord ~ She was always delightful to talk to. I lost my Momma in 2009 & Melba treated me with such love as a customer. My prayers is for her family to be blessed with God's peace. I know your hearts are broken into, but you will see this wonderful woman again ~ She is but a breath away ~

I never knew my own grandmothers, but my husband's grandmother, Melba, was a wonderful surrogate. I'll miss her presence, her talent for making things beautiful, and the quiet guidance she provided everyone in the family. Rest in peace, grandma.

Grandma was such a sweet woman and always, always had a smile on her face :) I will always remember her sitting in her recliner watching Days of Our Lives and joking around giving Brian a hard time about something or other. She was one of my favorites and will be sorely missed.
