WHEN I AM GONE

When I am gone, release me, and let me go. I have so many things to see and do,

you mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we have so many years.

I gave you my love; you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.

Not sure what to say?

Remembering a beautiful life.

I was blessed and honored to sing for the Celebration of Life of this amazing woman! Mrs. Melba Fortune' Martinez paved the way for so many others to follow. I was impressed to know that she creates the sign for disability that we all see every single day! When I pass by these signs now, I think of Mrs. Melba and I smile. She is definitely one of our heroes.

My condolences to the family. What a wonderful person. May God be with you and your family in your time of sorrow 2nd Corinthians 1:3,4.

We are so sorry for your loss Paul & Ermelle and The Martinez Family.

The Martinez family were our family's (The Raphael's) next door neighbors during the 1950s and 1960s until they relocated to Los Angeles. In the late 1970s, I believe, when my parents and siblings visited me in L.A. My parents insisted on visiting the Martinez to congratulate them on Ermelle's wedding announcement and E. Paul's relocation from Florida to L.A. to be near them again. Mrs. Melba and my mother Mrs....

Prayers and Condolences to the Martinez family. Had a wonderful opportunity to speak with her daughter who shared historically, positive information about Ms. Martinez and I appreciated the experience.

Mz Melba & Mama Millie April 9, 2018

She and my mama (Millie Charles who lives in New Orleans) used to talk for hours once a month, 2 to 3 hours, for over a 50 year span of time. About 5 years ago, when it was clear that my mother could not keep up the pace, and depth of conversation, I vowed that I would find a way for them to at least see and hug each other before their time was up on this earth-plane. Fortunately, the Creator cleared the way for that happen last year in April, for which i am eternally grateful.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death and our loving Heavenly Father is very aware and understands your painful loss. He will listen to your prayer and pay attention to your pleas for help because he is near to all those calling on him. He will hear your cry for help and give you comfort.
