Not sure what to say?

I just received word from Bud King that you recently lost your wife Melba. I wanted to send our sincere condolences from my wife Sharon and me on your loss. You and I occasionally fish together on the Tolton’s Canada trip, and I have always enjoyed your company.

Howard, you are in our prayers. Melba will always be rememberd as the vibrant, smiling lady that we liked to be around. Sincerely, Lela & Pat Weber

Howard,
You and Melba were such a blessing to me when I was at McElwain. I love you and pray that God will give you peace and rest.

Howard and family,
Melba will be greatly missed by her church family at McElwain. Everywhere we look, we will see her touch for many years to come. We are saddened with you, will miss her, and are grateful to have been considered her friend!! I am praying for your family!

Tim, I am so, so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughs and prayers.

I will always remember Melba as being a very caring and sharing person, who reached out to me when my family and I needed assistance. In November 1975 Melba and Howard allowed me to stay in their home, i.e. housed and fed me, for approximately 30 days while I looked for employment. They were extremely kind and graciously opened their home to me and shared their lives with me. I will always be deeply indebted to Melba and Howard for their kindness and generosity. She will be missed.

We regret to learn of Melba's death. We were blessed with her friendship and will always remember her beautiful smile, kind words, and availability to help. Be assured of our prayers and may God's love surround you with encouragement, comfort, and hope for tomorrow.
