I was saddened to hear about Mel's passing. He gave me an opportunity to come work for him 20 years ago, and it was a great experiance that led to a career in the coatings business. HE WAS the King in the Portland, and southern Maine market during his tenure. He left quite a legacy.The Smith family were all exceptional people!
My prayers go out to the Smith family for the loss of a memorable father, husband, and leader to many-that he was!
