I knew Lindy for several years during our respective childhoods (I was her senior by about 3½ years), as she and her family lived directly across the street from me in Detroit. Lindy always struck me as a very nice, empathetic and levelheaded girl. I was sorry to see that she had died, but was happy to read that she had what appeared to be a very fulfilling life. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
