Not sure what to say?

Uncle Jim,
There are times in life when we go through trials and tribulations and instead of learning from them and bettering ourselves, we become bitter and stay in a rut rather than stepping forward and moving on better and stronger than we were before. We must always keep in mind that we will go through trials and tribulations in life and should have the attitude of King David who said "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art...

Saturday's service was absolutely wonderful and exactly what Melinda would have wanted...to a tee. She would have been just thrilled to hear the testimonies that were given--not for her glory, but for her to know that her witness of Christ and the fullness of His Spirit was clearly demonstrated in her life. What an encouragement to us-- that Christ in her, the hope of glory, enabled her to courageously and graciously serve Him to the end. Sometimes we hear tributes given at memorial services...

Jim,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met Melinda, although I can tell from your conversations that you cherished your time together, and that this resolution was heaven sent at this time. I was out of town on business and just got back to read the emails today; please know that I would have attended the services had I been in town. God Bless. Dave

Melinda was and continues to be a blessing to me. Her strength and amazing attitude really touched my heart, and ministered to me. I look forward to seeing her again, in the presence of God. She was a kind and generous person, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Dear Jim, as I had the joy of sharing the celebration service today with you, your family and friends, I couldn't help but think back to the joy that Melinda brought to so many. When you both joined us for prayer at the CURE office, she would often come with a joke before we began our time of prayer and praise. There were many tears today, tears really over your loss - our loss, certainly not Melinda's. She is now basking in the glory of her Heavenly Father, free at last - absolutely!

Melinda entered my life 15 years ago as a dear friend from Bible Study. I have walked on the Hileman Hikers MS Walk Team every year for Melinda in the hopes of finding a cure, so I could selfishly keep her near me for much longer. Unfortunately, I was too late. She went home to spend eternity with her best friend-Jesus. Melinda, enjoy walking and running on those streets of gold with your friends. I'll be home some day to join you. Jim, may God surround you in His arms of comfort at this time...

I first met Melinda while taking my little granddaughter out for a walk. Melinda was so sweet to Katie even offering to take out for a ride on her motorized chair. Jim and Melinda would come to the Brother's Restaurant for a bite to eat and I often had the pleasure of serving them. I will miss seeing Melinda and her beautiful smile.
My deepest sympathy to Jim and Family. Betty Costanza

Betty and I have known Melinda for these many years and she has bessing to us. Our comfort is knowing that she loved the Lord and knowing we be seeing when we go to the Lord. Our prayers are for Jim and the family in the days to come.

I met Melinda as she was out for a beautiful July morning ride on her electric wheelchair. When she learned that we lived in the same neighborhood, she invited me to visit her in her home. Since that day Melinda and I shared many meaningful, pleasant hours visiting together. She and Jim often invited me to join them to eat out for lunch. Melinda demonstrated how meaningful her faith was to her in her daily living. She radiated the joy of the Lord in every visit that we shared together. She...
