Melinda Riddell Johnson

I would like to say I'm so sorry to Melinda's family and I will miss her very much. I hadn't seen her in many years but during our childhood we were close. I spent many nights in that big house with a good friend. Bye-Bye Melinda.

Dear Melody,
I am so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. I have not seen her since she was 10 or 11 years old but Melinda obviously turned into a lovely and acomplished woman. (I can still remember her child's voice addressing you, always beginning with: "Mel"....) If she was a sweetheart like you, she was just as obviously a good person too.

I was shocked to hear of Melinda’s passing and I give you my sincere condolences. Along with Peter Bigley I too met Melinda at Ainsworth School in kindergarten. She was always bright, bubbly and full of energy. Even after she moved we always called her old home on Vista the “Riddell House” and still do! She will always be remembered fondly and lovingly by all those that knew her. She was quite a wonderful woman.

I was saddened to see Melinda's obit in the Oregonian. I had known her since kindergarten. We had a friendly ongoing rivalry for years. My heart goes out to the family.
