Lendy and I played together as children and we spent time together at family events always catching up. Our parents were best friends and spent many hours together as young adults. Our fathers could sure tell the stories!!

Lendy was so very special. Even though we...

Lendy and I became friends some 12 years ago at First Baptist Church when Ryan was small. I saw her make many positive changes in her life and grow tremendously. Her sweet spirit and belief in God, love for her son,and mother were her focus and strengths. Her life was a reminder to me that loving those who are the most important to you is what is most important in life. She will be missed. My prayers are with her mother and son Ryan in the coming days.

My heart goes out to Shelby and the family. I am so sorry for your loss. God will watch over and take of care you.

I only knew Lendy through being a patient of Dr. Surat. I was so shocked when I read of her passing in the newspaper. What I remember most about Lendy was her gentle demeanor, soft spoken voice and her warm and caring smile. I would always ask about her son and she would do the same with me. I will truely miss seeing Lendy at the dental office and hearing Dr. Surat calling her "Lendy Lou". May God bless.

Lendy was my cousin, and although we did not spend loads of time together I can still remember fond things about her. Many of her attributes have been spelled out by others- kind spirit, beautiful smile, and love for others. Her father- Wesley, and my dad- Bob Grisso were great friends and I remember the day my dad found out about Wesley's passing. He wept.
Shelby, my prayers are with you and Ryan. May God hold you in the palm of his hands as you walk this road or sorrow. ...

My life was always so peaceful when Lendy and I were together. We went to church together and spent many hours talking. We were the same age and had a lot in common. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to leave a very special aura everywhere she went.

At this moment I do feel sad in my heart and soul for the loss here on earth, but I know she is smiling with the angels and loves being in the presence of our Lord.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of her...
