Not sure what to say?

I've often thought of Missy and the rest of the Soderlund family over the last 30 years. We grew up in the same neighborhood and I was blessed to have been invited into their home as a child. She was a special child and I'm sure she grew into a wonderful woman. The world will be a little less beautiful without her in it.

What a blessing it was to be a part of the celebration of life for Melissa this afternoon. Not only did Melissa get things done while she was still here on earth but she was putting all of us together at the celebration as well. In memory of Melissa we are going to have a "St. John Youth get together" in the near future so if you were a youth or youth leader at St. Johns, get in touch with one of the Soderlunds or Hughes and let us know your info so we can get the word out. Missy, we love...

Mary and Dave and all the family, we were saddened by news from our friend Pat Blume that Melissa had died. What a blessing she was to so many at St. John's. I have so many pictures and memories of her as she grew up in our St. John's family. Our prayers are that God Himself will comfort you in this great loss. With our love and heartfelt sympathy.
