Read MoreI have known Melissa for several years, since she was an attending with UAB in Huntsville. She was always an example of professionalism for her students. She w as smart and compassionate. She taught by example, listening to her patients and always being thorough. She was an excellent doctor and a good person. She will be missed.

I was a patient of Dr. Behringer at UAB-Huntsville for many years. She was a wonderful doctor who took time to listen to any concerns I had. We always talked about family and especially about Sean. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. My condolences to the family.
