Melissa,we didnt know eachother all too well but i remember you coming to play atari at grandmas with me when i was very little.Wish we couldve been closer as cousins. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your baby girl and the rest of the family and friends who were close to you.

Mel, We just found each other again, and you're gone already. I know it was hard to leave, you were so brave and fought so hard. Just the little while we got to spend emailing and visiting has been such a blessing. There are so many people to remember you, Mike and Michaela will always have happy memories. I went to school with Melissa and we would listen to punk rock and laugh a lot. She was a very fun person to be around, I feel content knowing that she does not have to hurt anymore... God speed in your families recovery.

As many of you may or may not know, Melissa lost her life to Breast Cancer this past Sunday. As we would like to say, she won the battle and is at eternal rest with our maker. I was called in to say goodbye to my long-time friend of over 20 years last Saturday night. I am happy to have been with Melissa until her last breath while she was asleep on Sunday at approx. 5:40am.

Last Wednesday night,...

We met Melissa thru her mom who brought her to Ahwatukee/Chandler Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group meeting. We were truly proud to know such a strong and courageous young women. Our thought and prayers are with you and your family.

I met you online through breastcancer.org and we found out we lived in the same area and were fighting the same type, triple negative. You put up a strong fight! You were taken way to soon! I will continue to fight not only for myself but in your memory to find a cure for this terrible disease so that my daughters and Michaela will never have to go through this! Hugs to you in Heaven!
