Not sure what to say?

For some reason I woke up very early and was thinking of Mel, who I had worked with at Phoenix Interfaith. We lost contact maybe 15 years ago and I was so shocked she has died. She was a very kind person and we had both changed careers around the same time. I appreciated her friendship.

We recently found out about the passing of Mel. Please accept our belated condolences. We met Mel and Dave when they were planning to start their family. Such special memories and loved being part of welcoming Olivia and Emily into their families as we welcomed our daughter, Emma into ours. I still remember the "Barbie" birthday cake Mel created - so many fun memories as the girls grew up. Our hearts go out to all three of you as you continue to journey without your precious wife and...

I have grieved much over the loss of Mel. Words cannot express the impact she had on my life. She was the hand of God in my life. Bringing so much healing. Healing I never thought was possible. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what depth of grief you all experience. I knew her for a brief time. I often pass on her nuggets of truth to my family and friends. It was a God picked gift having her in my life. Praise the Lord. I have hope that I will see her again in Heaven.

I was shocked to hear of Mel's passing. She helped my husband and myself through some hard times. She was smart, talented and funny. Her smile I will never forget. May God bless you and your family.

Mels passing is a huge loss to her family and all who knew her. Sweet, gentle, kind and smart are the words that come to me when thinking of Mel. We enjoyed many fun times in the Zionsville group. Mel will certainly be missed, but she will be in our hearts forever!
My condolences to her family. May God Bless her beautiful soul!

Your kind soul will always be here in mine.

Mel was one of the most gracious women I had the pleasure to know. Her friendly face and her warmth drew you to her. She will always remain a special friend. She taught me how to make popovers, and I can't help but smile and think of her every time I make them. Dave, Olivia, and Emily-she is gone too soon and it isn't fair. She will live on in all of you! God bless you all.
