Not sure what to say?

Bill Just wanted to remember your Mom this week. Wondering ing how your Dad is doing. My sister Ann who is younger by several years and has dementia. She lives with her husband in an assisted livening home in Delaware. She has just spend a week with me and I can see a great change since I last saw her. It is so sad. Please give my regards to your Dad. Ward has been gone since 2007. We had wonderful times with your parents. Best to you and your family. Blessings Ellen Smith

I knew Melissa, VC, and family from Grest Brjdge Swim and Racquet Club. They were one of my favorite families there and in the community. I visited her recently and reminisced with her and VC. Melissa will be missed by many and I am honored that she was part of my life for a long time. Prayers for her kids and VC.

VC and family, Ellen Clark here in Charleston, so very sad to learn of your wonderful Melissa's passing. My years with Historic Charleston were blessed with sharing time beside great folks like you two and the many docents and friends during those years. Time may move along, but the pleasure of knowing good friends like the Suttons does not dim the memories . God's grace and His loving arms give you each peace, knowing Melissa will be with you again in his Heaven, Fond memories to each,...

Bill I was so sorry to hear about Melssa´. Since they moved to Chesapeake we haven´t corresponded but Connie has kept me informed, I would like to make a donation in her memory to the Ministry of Music to her Church since that was her passion as is mine. Hope all is well with your family. Best Regards Ellen

To Melissa's family - I taught at Great Bridge High School with Melissa and then I transferred to Hickory High School. Then our paths crossed again in the Four Flags DAR chapter...and we also sang alto together in the community performance of Handel's Messiah. So I have many fond memories of Melissa. My heartfelt sympathy--

For V.C., and Melissa´s family: Our hearts are so very saddened and we are praying for God´s grace to give each of you strength to carry you through this most trying time. We appreciate all the support that was given us as we opened our first Texaco Express Lube. Your support for Bethany was continuing and very appreciated. A special place in heaven is reserved! God bless good and faithful servant. Jack & Donna Mobley

My condolences to the entire family. I ushered with Melissa at the Dock Street Theatre, and am very sorry to hear of her passing.

I lived in the neighborhood with Melissa and was a Middleton Place docent with her for many years. She was a dedicated volunteer and always a friendly and cheerful person. Peace and Blessings.

I met Melissa at the Summerville YMCA aerobics class in 1999. She and the other "back row" ladies were so much fun! They showed up once in tutus, leotards and pearls to prove that Southern ladies could get their sweat on! Melissa encouraged me to become a volunteer at her beloved Middleton Place where I have been since 2005. It's only thanks to her insistence that I looked into it and now I have been an employee of Middleton Place since 2011. She was a wonderful friend and I was so sad when...
