Marshall, Melodie - Of Flint, age 50, died Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 5pm Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 12 Noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Melodie was born in Flint on June 7, 1967, and was a resident of Flint all of her life. On July 28, 1991, she married John Jando.
Surviving are husband, John;
Children, John Michael Jr., David James Jando, Joshua Michael William Jando and Jacob Dungerow;
Grandchildren, Benjamin Kraszewski, Tori and Tabitha Jando;
Father, William Marshall;
Brother, William Jr. (Anne) Marshall and sister, Stephanie (Patrick) Holdwick.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Amy and brother, Michael Skiba.
So shocked to hear that two of my cousins have each lost a child within four days of one another. Know that prayers for peace and strength are with you as you walk this difficult path.

To the Marshall family ,so sorry to hear melodie is no longer with us ,me and her used to be best friends during summerfield and Longfellow ,then we moved away ,still now I miss being friends. But we chatted in Facebook,thoughts and prayers to the family ,God rest her soul,rest in peace mel,u will be missed,
