Melody Lynn Ashmore

I just want to say that I never had any of the Ashmore kids at Brill elementary, but I know the whole family are great people. I have been friends with you since I was in the 3rd grade and to think I am 52 nowwhich means you are the longest friend I have known. I loved our international trips to Paris & Niagara Falls; and I was so hoping we were going to get more travel trips together. I’m at such a loss and I don’t know how to process you being gone; but I trying to reassure my self that you are watching over me & sticking out your tongue! I would also like to think that you have been reunited with your Mom & Dad....

It’s been 50 years unbelievable. Melody and I were friends at Klein in HS our jr. and sr. years. I looked for her at our 10th reunion but she was clearly busy building her life and family. Please know I’m very sorry for your loss and pray you find some measure of comfort. Melody was a great friend at that time in our lives.

I worked with Melody at Magnolia Intermediate School in Magnolia , Texas in the 80’s. Melody was a sweet , warm, and caring teacher. I am blessed to have known her sweet spirit. She was a lovely person.
