Melody was a wonderful women as well as a wonderful mother and wife. She will be greatly missed but now she will be reunited with her beautiful daughter Jaime that i knew she greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very tough time.

Dearest Mason, Jason, and Mason Jr., I have just learned of Melody's passing and through this also have learned of the passing of Jaime. The last time I saw your beautiful family was at our memorial gathering for our Danny in 2006. I still remember the kindness and compassion in your faces and the light shining in Melody's eyes. I am so deeply saddened to learn of her passing and even deeper the grief she and you felt at the passing of your daughter and sister. I remember Melody's kindness...

Mr. Mikell and Family,
I can still remember the first day I met you both at Florida Hospital Deland. My prayers have been with you everyday since. I will miss seeing Ms Melody's smiling face. I pray Gods Blessings be upon you and your family. I am so very sorry for your loss, Melody will truly be missed.

Melody was such a kind, strong, protective and giving person. I will always remember her laughter, little dances and jigs that she would do. Coming into the house or office and calling her 'Moppy' courtesy of the many 'Jaime-isms'. I was always glad to come over to the Mikell household and be able to call her 'Mom'. I will miss her greatly, but will always have the wonderful memories to help keep a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Mikell family during this difficult time.
