Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to hear of Melody's passing. Another Adirondack legend gone.. memories of her, my Dad, and skip will always fill my heart every visit we make.. Countless walks up to Melody's deck to soak in the lovely view. She will be missed. She was always so warm, kind and friendly to my family. After spending my 32nd summer up there it will not be the same without seeing Melody. Rest In Peace and God bless you Melody. I hope we meet again some day. My deepest condolences to...

Such a great loss. She meant so much to so many livers she touch with her love of music and students.

My deepest sympathy to Melody's family. I had the honor of working at Ostrander with her and being a member of the choir she directed at the Shawangunk church. My children along with thousands of others were so fortunate to have her as their music teacher. I will miss this very special lady and keep her family in prayer.

So sorry to learn of her passing. She was an amazing soul. I owe my love of all music of to her & she was an amazing teacher. If it were not for her encouragement i wouldn't own a steel string acoustic today.

Sending you my love and heartfelt sympathy dear family of Melody. We met many years ago at Skidmore College in Saratoga NY while at T.E.A.C.H. Through NTSUT. Melody became a dear friend & we stayed in touch over the years. Thanks to FB we connected through her music & travels later.I am so sorry for your loss of such a lovely woman. We have being the eldest of 7 siblings in common & were mostly teachers in our family. Again sending my love and sympathy to all of you.

I was very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years at Ostrander as well as being a friend. Yes, cancer is an awful thief. May she rest in peace.cT

I am so very sorry to hear this news. I worked with Melody at Ostrander Elementary School for many years. She was a lovely and caring person. She will be missed!
