Michael, I'm so sorry. I met Mel in Philadelphia, and when I moved back to Providence, I would have visited him more if I drove. I always cared about him, and admired him. I still have the wall hanging that he gave me for my house. How sad. Marilyn

Not sure if Mel was the same guy I was stationed with at Ft Polk, La in 1968-69? Mel was also a groomsman in my wedding in Houston prior to my discharge.. I have seen Mel since but in this life I could never forget him.. He was a wonderful guy & my wife & I always regretted not being able to find him.. If this is the Mel I knew I am very sad & my deepest condolences to u.. Elton Salinas

Michael- devastated and so deeply sorry about the loss of Mel. We know you have so many loving memories of him that will stay with you forever. The service was simply beautiful. So blessed to have you as our neighbors and friends. Mel was one of a kind and a great man that will always be in our memories too.

Dear michael,Brenda,and the rest of the gang, I am so sad to learn of my friends passing . He was such a kind,caring,special guy with the best of taste in my book. I knew mel for over 55 years. Time goes by so quickly. I pray that you will all be left with fulfilling memories of a great guy. I also hope that Hospice gave him a peaceful and pain free passing. Joyce starr
