A blue blazer, a sharp tie and a winning smile. He was always one of the smartest - and most entertaining people in any room. A good friend and mentor for over 20 years - no doubt in my mind where he is shinning today.

Shine, Bobo and I were classmates at the U of A and good friends. On graduation day I told Mel "you are going to make a career of the Air force and become a general". You could just look at him and predict the future - he was the epidemy of an Air Force officer! Will miss him.
