My memories of Melvin began in 1947 at Denison High School as members of the Denison Yellow Jackets. Melvin and I continued our friendship at meetings with the Denison Lunch Bunch for many years,

I am sorry to hear about Melvin. A really fine man. He is the reason I am a Sooner fan. I was 8 years old when the Yellow Jackets went to the state semi finals. May the family sense God's love in a special way during this time of loss.
