My condolences to the Buchanan family. Sincerely, Rich Segreto Jr. and Family

Mr. Buchanan is one of a handful of my high school teachers who truly made an impression upon me. He made American history interesting for me as a student in 1970. Unfortunately, for any teacher, they had to really make the subject extremely appealing and alive for me. Otherwise, I was not interested. Mr. Buchanan found a way to keep my attention. Buck, Deepest condolences to you and your family. Straw

To Marilyn, Darryl, Dan and Melanie....and Gary, I'm talking to you Gary (my former student at BCHS) ....I am so very sorry to hear about Mel's passing. A very long time ago, he was my teacher, as well as my guidance counselor at the brand new Bristol Eastern High School. Great guy - great family. My heartfelt condolences.

In memory of Mel, a very special gentleman. May God bless you and your family now and always.

As a graduate of BEHS Class of 64. I remember him as a kind and caring person. My condolences to his family. Roland Legere

Rest in peace, Mr Buchanan. Thoughts and prayers to the entire Buchanan family. May our Lord grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time. With love and blessings, The Bonola family.

Please accept my condolences. When I think of Mel I see a warm gentle smile and a kindhearted colleague who I had the pleasure to share the halls of BEHS with.

We are so saddened to learn of Mel's death. Our sympathy to the whole family. May the support of family and friends bring you comfort. The world has lost a special role model.
