Not sure what to say?

Mr. Buffington was my first boss at First Security Bank. He hired me as a secretary/assistant even though I told him I didn't have any experience for what he was asking. I grew through the ranks to become and employee benefits officer. Later on, I was recruited to a TPA firm in Oregon and from there I created my own very successful firm in Oregon which I have maintained for 24 years! I am now getting ready to retire next year while celebrating my 25th anniversary. I doubt any of this...

It made me sad to read about Dean's death on LinkedIn, but I appreciate Mr. Hickman's post.
I had the opportunity to stop by Dean and Judy's home many times, delivering board meeting materials. They both always took a few minutes to ask about my family, and they eagerly shared stories about theirs. I even got to meet the grandchildren when Judy was babysitting. They always made me feel welcome and Dean's hugs were the best!
Sending prayers to Judy and the whole family.

I'll always remember Mr.Buffington as my T-Ball coach. He was always smiling and ready to give a hug! Prayers to your family.

I worked for Mrs. Langroise, for many years, Mr. Buffington was one of her financial advisers. What you read in his obit, is really true, I had several dealings with him. He treated me with understanding, and gave me great advice. Rest in peace Mr Buffington, and thankyou!

What a wonderful man. He will be missed by many.Sending love, Bob and Penny Rice

I send my sincere condolences to Judy and the extended Buffington family. I first met Dean in 1970 while we were in Moscow studying for the Idaho State Bar exam, and have appreciated his continued friendship ever since. A few months after we met, Dean was selected by Jim Hawkins to succeed Jim as leader of the Trust Department at...
