Bush, Melvin Lee 64 Nov. 10, 1947 July 11, 2012 Melvin was born in Eugene. He worked for Seattle's Best Coffee as a barista. He died in Portland following a brief illness. A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the Omega Funeral & Cremation Service, 223 SE 122nd Ave.

Melvin - it has been over a year now and I miss you as much as yesterday. I think of you every day when I leave the office and get my mocha <3 and every every time I blast Mariah Carey ... or the song "You're SImply the Best" at my computer or on my IPOD. Wait for me my friend I look forward to catching up with you, hopefully, many years from now in heaven.

My Mel's I will forever hold you in my heart and memories. You changed my life in ways I cannot describe. We had so many days we would laugh until our stomachs hurt. Melvin was an incredible man who gave me proper perspective and humbled me. I'd come talk to Melvin about life and when I got to complaining he'd just look at me and say "poor baby" LOL
