To Garland, Stephanie and the Wyatt Family

Keeping you all in our prayers... words cannot express our deep felt sympathy for the loss of Melvin. He will always hold a special place in our hearts while we will continue to remember his warm infectious smile and pleasantries. He will always be the beacon of light as we remember him back in the days on the 49'ers baseball team with Keith and Rick co-founders/ coaching. He loved the game and his performance showed just how much....

Melvin was one of the sweetest men I had ever met. I went to church with him at one point in time, and he became a very good friend of my older sister. I will never forget his warm smile and kind spirit. I am truly saddened by his passing, and am praying for his family that the Lord will send his peace to comfort them during this, their time of sorrow. Heaven has gained another angel that will be sorely missed here on earth. Rest in peace Melvin.

My heart is saddened by this untimely loss. I pray for comfort and strength for my Wyatt family. Please remember God does not make mistakes and his grace is always sufficient. Rest in Paradise dear cousin.

Keep your hands in God's hand. I'm sorry to hear of the transitioning of your love one, Melvin. Only time heals a broken heart, just know that God never fails and my family will continue to pray for you all. As days go by you will think on all the good times that God allowed you to have together. Continue to love one another and be strong in the Lord.

My dear cousin Penny, I cannot stop thinking of you. I am so sadden by all of this. We had some good times playing as kids. I remember how much you were smiling the last time I saw you. I know I was getting on your nerves about taking a picture with me but you smiled and did it anyway. Our family chain has lost a link. I love you.

Sorry was sad to hear of the pass of Melvin. I pray that God continue to be with you all during this time of sadness. Remember earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal.

We were saddened to hear of Melvin's passing. Our prayers go out to the family.

My heart was deeply sadden to hear of the passing of Melvin. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.Love Always

Melvin, I want to thank you for being such a good friend to me. I still remember when we first met some 25 years ago at Walmart. You asked for my phone number and I said "No....I don't give strangers my number --- but if we are to be friends, we'll meet again". A couple of weeks later I was at Cloverleaf going to a pair of boots for me and my baby sister because a storm was coming in. I was heading to JCPenny's and you were walking out. We both stopped and stared at each other and...
