Mel, It was my pleasure to work with and for you for almost 26 years, until you decided to move to Alaska, your dream home. You had a big role and positive influence on my career with Dolese and I owe many of my achievements with Dolese, to you. You were always generous with your time and your knowledge.
The world has lost a one of a kind guy, with many interests and talents, from playing pool, antique collecting, photography, racketball, music and hunting, just to hame a few.

What a tragic and untimely loss. I did not know Melvin personally, but through Greg I knew he was an extraordinary individual. He had an amazing family and I can't imagine the emptiness you all must feel. May Melvin rest in peace.

"Shaking the tree boss, shaking the tree" one of Mel's favorite movies was Cool Hand Luke. Mel was one of the best mentors I will ever have and I will never forget him.

Mel and I didn't know eachother well. But most mornings we'd be pulling out onto our street at the same time... ever the gentleman, he'd wave me out with a big grin and a tip of his hat. A seemingly small ritual, but one that always made my day a bit brighter. Greg, I am so sorry for your loss and pray that time and happy memories soon ease your pain.

Mel, It was always such a pleasure to be around you and work for you.
With a quick sense of humor and a calm demeanor, I always knew that there wasn't anything that you wouldn't be able to solve. You made our office a brighter place. I will never forget you.

Mel, you brought a wonderful spark of life to all that knew and loved you. You shared yourself unselfishly with those around you and brought much love and joy to others. That spark will live on through your friends and family and especially your soul mate, Greg. What a blessing you both have been to each other. This is a rare and precious thing in this crazy wonderful world. Now you are dancing with the Angels.
Always,
Karen

When I first met Mel, with no fault of his own, it was under stressful circumstances. I wanted very much not to like him. I tried not to like him. I failed. Mel had an undemanding and welcoming personality. He made a room feel just a little bit warmer, he made a smile come quite a bit faster and he made the work load a whole lot easier to bear. It was my great fortune to have known and worked for such a kind man. Mel will never be forgotten.

Mel, I will miss you so much! No words can express the tortured grief I suffer at the loss of one of my closest friends and mentor. You taught me how not to be afraid of life and all the good and wonderful things life gives us, to include you!
Greg, if you need anything at all, please feel free to get in touch, and thank you Greg for being the person that you are.
